2010 Anderson Rocket Tech Fastpitch Demo Bats are intended for practice and game situations. These bats may have small dings in the barrel. All Anderson Demo Bat will pass the ASA Ring Test and should be allowed for play in all ASA games. These bats also may have SMALL deformations in the barrel that are known in the Anderson bat world as “Performance Waves”. These waves are a design characteristic of ALL Anderson multi-wall bats and should be regarded as 100% normal. In fact, these waves are a vital part of your bat reaching its highest performance potential. A wave in the barrel can be attributed to the outer wall pushing itself away from the inner wall, creating gaps along the barrel and decreasing friction between the two walls. This lack of friction means more energy can be transferred from the bat to the ball and will increase exit velocity and distance.
